Congratulations to the Impact Athletes who took part in the cross country competition at Merrist Wood. This was a new course for all the athletes and they were treated to mud - lots of it!
For some of our athletes, it was their first experience of a cross country race and everyone is very proud of how they did.

On 28th January, we had 30 athletes take part in the third and final Sportshall Athletics fixture of the season at the Guildford Spectrum. It was an extremely exciting afternoon which saw the Impact athletes shine and the team perform exceptionally
Congratulation to the girls team 1 and 2 who were winners and runners up meaning we have won each of the three competitions this year. The boys also did really well considering most of the team were made up of Year 6 and Year 7 athletes.
It's been a great winter of sportshall competition and Impact AC have definitely left their mark on the rest of Surrey.
Well done to Florence, Izzy, Charlotte, Lucy, Ben H, Ben V and Henry who have all been invited to trial for the Under 13s County team. Meanwhile, Martha, Olive, Bailey, Daniel and Luke have been invited to trial for the Under 11s County team.

Last Sunday saw the second of the annual Border League Cross Country fixtures, this one at Stoke Park in Guildford.
There was once again a strong showing from Impact Athletes with many competing for the first time. Congratulations to all of you but particularly to our debutants; Poppy, Jacob and Joe.
Well done also to all the Impact runners who ran in a Cleves vest this weekend!
Once again, the under 13s boys managed to win the team competition for the second time this year with a dominant display, particularly impressive given that the majority of the team are in Year 7.

On Sunday 5th November, we had 14 Impact AC runners take part in the first Border League Cross Country fixture of the year.
Under 11s
Well done to Thomas and Zack who train with us on a Tuesday. They ran brilliant races securing 50th and 66th place in their races
Under 13s
We had four girls running in the Under 13s race. Rose finished 10th, Eliza 15th, Florence 19th and Sophia 32nd. The team finished an impressive 4th overall. Well done girls!
We also had five boys running in the same age group. Etienne (2nd) and Harry (6th) acheived great top ten finishes with Tobias (13th), Milo (17th) and Freddie (22nd) not far behind. These results mean that Impact AC won the overall team event for the Under 13s boys. A fantastic achievement
Under 15s
Last up, we had Luke running in the Under 15s race - a gruelling 4km around what was a really muddy course by then. For his first ever competitive race, he ran brilliantly securing 3rd place overall.
